SUMMARY:In-Class Visit
DESCRIPTION:Students from one of our local elementary schools will receive 
 a pre-visit from our Outreach Manager\, Torie Cronk\, for their upcoming f
 ield trip! Torie has eight years of experience as an elementary educator a
 nd greatly enjoys these pre-visits and connecting with students in our loc
 al communities.\n\nPre-K students will complete the "What Is A Museum?" pr
 ogram\, in which they'll learn about different types of Museums and why pe
 ople collect items to share with others. They'll draw an example of their 
 own Museum and what items they would have in it. This is a fun activity fo
 r our littlest learners and helps foster a love for future Museum adventur
 es!\n\nKindergarten will complete the "Car Construction" program that expl
 ores how automobiles are manufactured and the different parts of vehicles 
 that are similar and different depending on the type of vehicle. Once at t
 he Museum\, students can compare and contrast the different parts of vario
 us Brass Era automobiles featuring horns\, hoods\, and body styles!\n\nFie
