1911 Pierce Arrow Motorcycle

  • Owner: Richard C. Paine, Jr. Automobile Charitable Trust
  • Manufacturer: Pierce Arrow Motor Car Company (Buffalo, New York, 1901-1938)
  • Additional info: This was the first American, four-cylinder, advanced frame design. The fuel and oil were housed in frame tubes, and the shaft drive was fully enclosed. It was too high priced to succeed in the market.
