The Speakeasy is maturing – into the 1930s! The Jazz Age has evolved to swing and “Big Jazz.” It is the Golden Age of Hollywood, with the downtrodden seeking an escape from the everyday woes of the Depression. Gambling, offering another means of escapism, is more popular than ever.
Whisk yourself back to the 1930s for a night at the Brass Club:
- dance to live music by Swingin’ Overtime, a 12-piece swing band
- play charity blackjack and take your chances on the wheel of fortune in the gaming room
- experience a vaudeville performance including numerous acts
- enjoy our specialty cocktail, beer, and wine
The Barn Arts Collective will return to assist those with two left feet and teach dance moves from the period, such as Charleston, Lindy Hop, and Swing. We encourage you to don period apparel, but costumes are entirely optional.
Get ready to brush off those dancing shoes, don your glad rags, and dip the bell, for a ringa-ding-ding time!
